KICK OFF SOCIAL & SILENT AUCTION

Join us as we kick off Tour de Turtles with a celebration featuring hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, local music and a silent auction to benefit sea turtle conservation and habitat protection in Brevard County!

Tickets: Limited tickets are available at the door for $35.

Parking: Parking is limited. Carpooling is recommended. Shuttle service will be available starting at 5:30 at Chapel By The Sea, .25 mile north of Barrier Island Center.

LIVE SEA TURTLE RELEASE

Join Sea Turtle Conservancy & University of Central Florida researches as they attach a satellite-transmitter on a loggerhead sea turtle as part of the 2012 Tour de Turtles marathon. Visit the Barrier Island Center to see the action live, including the turtle's release under the Start Gate at 8:30 am (please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early). From 9 am to 10:30 am, there will be fun, science-themed family activities on the deck at the Barrier Island Center. Parking is limited. T-shirts will be available for sale for $20 at the event.
